Latika consults face-to-face from 4 locations in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Contact us and we can arrange an appointment for you at a suitable location.
For your first appointment, please ensure you have a valid referral from your GP so that you can receive a Medicare rebate for your consultation. It is best to allow 30 minutes for your first appointment and please arrive 10 minutes early to fill out new patient forms.

Telehealth
In addition to face-to-face appointments, telehealth appointments are now available over the phone.
Telehealth is easy to use, from your phone, tablet or computer meaning you can attend appointments from home or work.
Hospitals
Delivery of your baby can be at your choice of Joan Kirner Women’s & Children’s Hospital, Bacchus Marsh Hospital and Northpark Private Hospital.
Gynaecological surgery are performed at Western Private Hospital and St Vincent’s Private Hosptial.
Latika has accreditation at a number of other hospitals in Melbourne’s western suburbs and should you require an alternative option, we’d be happy to speak to you about available options suitable according to your needs.

Fees
Dr Latika Cilly is a private Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and a full payment for your consultation is required on the day of your appointment.
Please ensure you have a valid referral from your GP so that you can receive a Medicare rebate for your consultation. Almost all consultations qualify for a Medicare rebate for a portion of the fee. This includes follow up consultations you may have or any in-room procedures.
For gynaecology care, such as surgery that needs to be carried out at a hospital, your private health insurance may cover your stay, depending on your level of cover.
For obstetrics care, your appointments over the course of your pregnancy with Latika in her rooms will be covered in part by Medicare and there will be some out-of-pocket expenses.
Private health insurance with obstetric level of cover is required for the childbirth in a private hospital and is usually required 12 months before you fall pregnant. Your private health insurance will cover your hospital stay (some funds may charge an excess) and ensure you have Latika attend to your pregnancy needs 24 hours a day.

Cancellation Policy
Three days prior to your appointment, our team will confirm your appointment via a text message.
If you’re unable to attend your appointment, we ask that you provide as much notice as possible so that we can offer your appointment time to patients on our waiting list.
Cancellations made more than 1 business day from the appointment do not incur a fee.
Cancellations made last minute will incur 50% of the missed consultation fee, whilst not making the appointment at all without any contact will incur the full fee of the missed consultation.
